This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of modern manufacturing within a professional UK workshop environment. You will master core engineering disciplines, from precision machining (including turning, milling, and CNC) and metal fabrication (such as laser cutting and forming). Understand various welding methods, including MIG, and the critical final assembly stage, covering mechanical fasteners and adhesives. Crucially, you will apply essential UK health and safety standards and recognise key quality control and lean manufacturing principles, enabling you to produce high-quality components efficiently and safely.
