Zeus Release
The following updates have been made in the period from 01 December 2024 – March 2025 – the changes added below are included in the Zeus release following an extensive testing process (Release Management Process).
This page will be regularly updated to display the features in each release. It is important if you are a client to review these regularly, particularly configuration options which you may need to turn on. We release updates in this way – wherever possible – so clients can control changes where it may interfere with the user’s interface and forewarn appropriately.
Open eLMS
Summary
The following is a summary of the more significant updates inherent in Zeus.
- Updated Progress view with an event list
- Events: links completion status of blended learning to event.
- Forms: numerous options added
- Let queries hide as well as show learning/forms
- Allow signposting – tracking of learning outside the LMS
- 100% registration configuration
- Configuration options categorised for ease of use
- Company specific configuration options for multi-tenanted installations
- Skills programmes link to learning completion
- QR Code refresh by admin
- Query builder: added new query conditions
- Waiting list for events rotates daily etc.
- Allow managers to add learners
- Permissions password protected to prevent administrator errors.
- eLearning can be retaken on failure and blocked after x attempts
- Increased stripe integration with purchasable credits
- Further off-the-shelf integrations added (e.g. Pay360).
- Flexible HR import interface – imports any data format
- Open eLMS API calls increased
- Increased alerts to support for failure of client side processes
- App integration settings added for communication with mobile number.
- AI Help chat integrated into management interface.
- Single Add button on all major screens leading to guided selection
- Ergonomic redesign of interfaces with consistency and auto-population of fields
- System response times optimised

To change any of these values log in as an administrator and go to System Setup > Defaults > Configuration and change the values accordingly. The default values are visible in the following spreadsheet – sorry there is too much to fit on this page.

- Library now 600+ eLearning courses – currently the library is expanding by 50 courses per month. For full details see the catalogue – CPD certified eLearning available for download for a one-off fee!
