Workforce
Learners are automatically assigned mandatory learning dependent upon their role in the organisation, the system will also use AI to suggest learning dependent upon the behaviour of employees with similar needs. Additionally they can search for training programmes and enrol on programmes to meet their learning needs. Any employee can track their learning progress and measure it against their desired career pathway.
Management
Managers can review the level of skills of their direct reports to find the best fit for any task. They can also monitor progress on learning programmes and approve additional training when needed. The learning management tasks are driven by email alerts, directing the manager back to the system when learning needs to be signed off or permission to go to on a training course is approved.
Trainers
Internal and external trainers can use the system to set up training courses and advertise them to the learning population. The learning diary will check the availability of a venue or trainer to ensure the smooth running on events.

Netflix Style Search
Learners have visibility to learning that is either assigned to them or learning that they seek out themselves. Classroom training, YouTube videos, web resources and elearning can all be displayed simultaneously, or a user may use the search bar to quickly find the course they want.
Training, Mentoring and Sign-off
Open eLMS can accept and manage all types of learning, and allows users to request training sessions, managers to authorise said sessions, and both to verify attendance afterwards. The same process can be utilised to arrange and manage mentoring activities, and all of the information can be automatically linked to users’ calendar and email systems.

Management
Users from each role type (i.e. manager, administrator, quality assurance etc.) follows the onscreen instructions from left to right to fulfil their role. This means the user does not have to search through the system to work out how to use it – this LXP (Learner Experience Platform) eliminates the need for training and greatly improves the take up of the system.
Reporting and Reminders
Managers can use the reporting tools within Open eLMS to track their learners on a number of different parameters – reports are fully customisable, can be scheduled to complete automatically and can be exported to PowerBI.
These same tools can be utilised to create custom lists of people, for example those who are behind on their learning commitments, and email them automatically until their due tasks are completed.
